A software license key for Full SAN Scaling is required to restore all Enterprise SAN Switch Module features. Note: All replacement switch modules are factory configured as Entry SAN Switch Modules. If software license keys for any of the features in the following list have been added to the switch module that you are replacing, you must download new software license keys so that you can add these features to the replacement switch. It consisted in total of 10 switches and one HP MPX200 router.The switch module in this package is configured as a Brocade Entry SAN Switch Module. So I just decided to try something out to see of my ideas were correct about how to replace a switch. After searching both the HP and Brocade website I haven’t found any clear documentation about replace a switch in a fabric. I have been busy last sunday with the replacement of a Brocade switch, to be specific an HP branded 4/24 in a c7000 blade enclosure.
